The Bourns 70AAJ-3-M0G is a 3-position male modular contact connector from the 70AA series. It features a compression contact design with a 2.54mm pitch, making it suitable for compact board-to-board and stacking applications. The connector is surface mount (SMT) compatible and supports pick-and-place assembly.
Electrical ratings include 3A per contact current capacity and 60V voltage rating, with a maximum contact resistance of 25 milliohms. The insulator is made of glass-reinforced thermoplastic with UL 94V-0 flammability rating, and contacts are copper alloy with gold plating (30 µin gold over nickel underplating) for reliable performance.
Mechanically, the connector offers a normal force of 80 grams minimum at working height, and durability of 50,000 cycles minimum. It can withstand vibration of 30 G and shock of 100 G. Operating temperature range is -55°C to 125°C.
The 70AAJ-3-M0G is RoHS compliant, lead-free, and halogen-free. It is available in tape and reel packaging (750 pieces per reel) for automated assembly. The connector is end-to-end stackable and features twin hot contacts with symmetrical pad layout.
