The Kyocera AVX 709296001002006 is a single-position poke-in wire contact from the 70-9296 series, designed for board-to-cable/wire applications in solid state lighting and industrial ruggedized systems. It features a dual-beam box contact design for mechanical stability and wire retention. The contact is surface mounted at a right angle and terminated via solder. It accepts solid or stranded wires from 22 to 28 AWG with a maximum insulation diameter of 1.5mm. The contact material is phosphor bronze with a pure tin finish. Electrical ratings include a voltage rating of 300V and current ratings of 11A (22 AWG), 9A (24 AWG), 7A (26 AWG), and 6A (28 AWG). The operating temperature range is -40°C to +125°C. The contact is provided in tape and reel packaging for automated assembly.
