The 6A10-T is a 6.0A silicon rectifier diode designed for general purpose power conversion applications. It offers a maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage of 1000V and a maximum average forward rectified current of 6A. The device exhibits a low forward voltage drop of 0.9V at 6A, contributing to improved efficiency in rectifier circuits. It can withstand a peak forward surge current of 400A (8.3ms single half sine-wave), providing robustness during startup and fault conditions. The diode is packaged in an R-6 axial leaded case, enabling through-hole mounting. The terminals are finished with tin and are solderable per MIL-STD-202 Method 208. The case is molded plastic with UL 94V-0 flammability rating. The device can operate over a junction temperature range of -65°C to +175°C. It is standard recovery (greater than 500ns), making it suitable for line frequency rectification.
