This is a 40-position, 0.5mm pitch FPC connector from Würth Elektronik's WR-FPC series. It features a zero insertion force (ZIF) design with a slide lock mechanism for secure cable retention. The connector has top contacts and is mounted on the board in a right angle orientation. The housing is made of liquid crystal polymer (LCP) with UL94 V-0 flammability rating. Contacts are phosphor bronze with 100µ" tin over 50µ" nickel plating. The connector is rated for 1A current and 50V voltage (note datasheet indicates 125V working voltage). Operating temperature range is -25°C to +85°C. It is suitable for FPC cables with 0.30mm thickness. The connector is packaged in tape and reel for automated assembly. Mating cycles are rated for 25 cycles. Compliance includes RoHS and lead free, with UL certification E323964.
