The TE Connectivity 66507-9 is a crimp pin contact designed for the AMPLIMITE HDP-20 series of subminiature D connectors. It is also compatible with TE CPC circular connectors. This stamped contact features a brass base material with a gold flash over palladium nickel or gold over nickel finish in the mating area, ensuring reliable conductivity and corrosion resistance.
The contact is size 20 with a pin diameter of 1.02 mm. It accepts 24-28 AWG wire (0.08-0.20 mm²) and provides insulation support for wire insulation diameters from 0.76 to 1.02 mm. Termination is by crimp, and the contact is retained in the housing via a crimp snap-in mechanism.
The 66507-9 is RoHS and ELV compliant, making it suitable for restricted substance regulations. It is supplied as a loose piece, offering flexibility in manufacturing and repair applications. No electrical ratings are specified in the datasheet.
