The 66504-9 is a stamped socket contact from TE Connectivity's AMPLIMITE HDP-20 series, designed for use with HDP-20 subminiature D and CPC connectors.
This size 20 contact accommodates 20-24 AWG wire (0.2-0.6 mm²) with a wire insulation diameter range of 1.27 to 1.52 mm. The contact base material is phosphor bronze, and the mating area is plated with gold flash over palladium nickel or gold (30) over nickel to a thickness of 0.76 µm (30.0 µin).
The contact uses a crimp termination method and features a crimp snap-in retention mechanism in the housing. Insulation support is included to provide strain relief for the wire.
