The 640714-1 is a 3-position strain relief accessory designed for TE Connectivity's Universal MATE-N-LOK II series rectangular connectors. It is made of natural nylon material with a UL94 V-0 flammability rating, ensuring reliable performance in safety-critical applications.
This strain relief accommodates wire diameters from 1.02 mm to 4.83 mm using a detachable insert for smaller bundles. The nominal dimensions are 33.02 mm length, 28.96 mm width, and 5.84 mm height. It is panel mounted using #6 screws (not supplied).
Two strain reliefs are required per connector, and the detachable insert may separate during shipping. The part is color-coded natural and is available in black as variant 640714-9.
