The TE Connectivity 640445-6 is a 6-position, single row male pin header from the MTA156 series. It features a 3.96mm (0.156") pitch, through hole mounting with straight solder tails, and a shrouded design with one wall. The header uses square copper alloy pins with a matte tin plating on the mating area.
The connector is rated for operation from -55°C to 105°C, with a voltage rating of 600VAC and a current rating of 7A. The housing is made of glass-filled thermoplastic with a UL94 V-0 flammability rating. A friction lock fastening type provides secure mating with compatible receptacles.
This header is designed for board-to-cable/wire applications, making it suitable for power and signal connections in a wide range of electronic equipment. The 3.96mm centerline spacing is compatible with industry-standard MTA156 receptacle connectors.
