The Thomas & Betts 622-1000 is a female socket connector designed for reliable interconnection in PC board applications requiring repeated connections and disconnections. This connector offers a current rating of 1 Amp and operates within a temperature range of -55°C to 125°C.

 

It features a 0.100" x 0.100" pitch and is constructed with a glass-filled thermoplastic insulator rated UL 94V-0. The contacts are made of beryllium copper with a minimum of 30µ inches of gold plating over nickel in the contact zone, and tin/lead over nickel in the termination area. The insulation resistance is greater than 1 x 10^9 Ohms at 500 VDC, and the dielectric strength is greater than 1000 VRMS at sea level.

 

This connector is suitable for applications requiring high-integrity mass termination of flat cable, simplifying and improving the quality of electronic interconnections. It is UL recognized and CSA certified.
