The TE Connectivity 62172-2 is a non-insulated quick connect receptacle designed for 0.250" (6.35mm) tab width and 0.032" (0.81mm) tab thickness. It uses through-hole solder termination for secure mounting on printed circuit boards or other substrates. The contact is made of brass with a tin finish, providing good electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance. This receptacle has two receptacles, allowing for two separate connections. It is RoHS3 compliant and REACH unaffected. Typical applications include wire-to-board and wire-to-wire connections in automotive, industrial, and consumer electronics where quick disconnect capability is required.
