The TE Connectivity 61687-2 is a standard male quick disconnect tab terminal designed for reliable wire-to-wire or wire-to-board connections. It accepts 14-18 AWG wire (0.82 – 3.31 mm²) and features a 0.187" (4.75mm) mating tab width with a 0.032" (0.81mm) tab thickness and 0.250" (6.35mm) tab length. The overall length is 17.15mm (0.675").
The terminal is made of brass with a tin plating for good conductivity and corrosion resistance. It is non-insulated and uses a crimp termination method with an open barrel and Tab-Lok crimp type. The terminal includes wire insulation support and accepts wire insulation diameters from 2.79 to 5.33 mm. It has a dimple mating retention feature for secure connection.
