The Radiall 610-325 is a DSX series crimp removable socket contact designed for reliable wire termination in multi-pin connector systems. It accommodates AWG 20, 22, and 24 wire with a maximum insulation diameter of 1.80 mm and a strip length of 4.00 mm.
The contact body is made from beryllium copper per ASTM-B-196, heat treated to a hardness of 380-420 HV, with the barrel annealed to 120-140 HV. The contact is plated with 0.00005 inch of gold per MIL-DTL-45204 over nickel per AMS 2403. A passivated stainless steel AISI 305 protective sleeve is included.
Crimping is performed using the M22520/1-01 tool with selector position 4 for AWG 20 and position 3 for AWG 22 and 24, along with the M22520/1-02 positioner. The overall length is 17.80 mm and the estimated weight is 0.41 g.
