The Bel Fuse 5TT 1.6-R is a slow blow glass tube fuse from the Type 5TT series. It is rated for 1.6A at 250VAC with a breaking capacity of 100A at 250VAC and 10,000A at 125VAC. The melting I²t is 19.7 A²s. The fuse operates from -55°C to 125°C.
The fuse body is made of glass with nickel plated brass caps and matte tin plated copper leads. It requires a fuse holder for mounting. The 5TT series is approved by CE, CSA, cULus, and PSE, and is RoHS compliant, lead free, and halogen free.
Typical applications include overcurrent protection for power supplies, battery chargers, adapters, monitors, and other internal circuits. Note that this product is end-of-life (last buy date July 31, 2024) and is not recommended for new designs.
