The Bel Fuse 5ST 2-R is a 5x20mm glass tube cartridge fuse designed for time-lag overcurrent protection. It is rated for 2A continuous current at 250VAC with a breaking capacity of 35A at rated voltage, complying with IEC 60127-2 standard sheet 3. The fuse features a slow blow response time, making it suitable for circuits with inrush currents. Melting I²t is 12 A²s.
The fuse body is made of glass with nickel plated brass caps and matte tin plated copper leads. It requires a holder for mounting and operates over a wide temperature range of -55°C to +125°C. The 5ST 2-R holds multiple safety agency approvals including CCC, CE, CSA, cURus, IMQ, SEMKO, and VDE, and is fully RoHS3, REACH, Halogen Free, and Lead Free compliant.
