The 5SF 10-R is a quick-acting, glass tube cartridge fuse from Bel Fuse’s Type 5SF/5SFP series. Designed in accordance with IEC 60127-2, sheet 2, it offers a low breaking capacity of 100A at 250VAC. The fuse is rated for 10A and 250VAC with a fast blow response time and a melting I²t of 163 A²s.
Constructed with a glass body, nickel plated brass caps, and matte tin plated copper leads, the 5SF 10-R requires a holder for mounting. It operates over a wide temperature range of -55°C to 125°C. The fuse is approved by CE, CSA, and cURus, and is compliant with RoHS, halogen-free, and lead-free directives.
Typical applications include power supplies, battery chargers, and monitor adapters. Note that this part is end-of-life with a last buy date of September 30, 2024; the recommended replacement series is the 0651C/0651P.
