The Bel Fuse 5MT 160-R is a 5x20mm glass tube cartridge fuse with a medium blow response time. It is rated for 160mA at 250VAC and has a breaking capacity of 35A at 250VAC. The fuse is designed to meet UL and CSA standard 248-14 and carries approvals from CE, CSA, and cULus. It is RoHS2 compliant, halogen free, and lead free.
The operating temperature range is -55°C to 125°C. The melting I²t is 0.06 A²s, and the insulation resistance after opening is a minimum of 10,000 ohms. The fuse requires an external holder for mounting and is supplied in a 5mm x 20mm package (0.201" Dia x 0.787" L).
Typical applications include overcurrent protection in power supplies, battery chargers, monitors, and adapters. Note that this series (5MT) is end of life as of June 30, 2020; the recommended replacement is the C1T series (0685Txxxx-01).
