The 5KP200A is a unidirectional TVS diode from Littelfuse designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient events. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 200V and a clamping voltage of 329.2V at a peak pulse current of 15.5A (10/1000μs waveform).
With a peak pulse power dissipation of 5000W (5kW) and steady state power dissipation of 8.0W, this diode offers robust transient protection. It has a fast response time of less than 1.0ps and is rated for ESD protection up to 30kV (air and contact discharge) per IEC 61000-4-2.
