The 5KP150A is a 5kW transient voltage suppression diode designed for protecting sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other events. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 150V and a maximum clamping voltage of 243V at 21A peak pulse current (10/1000μs waveform). This unidirectional device is suitable for general purpose applications such as I/O interfaces, VCC bus, and other circuits in telecom, computer, industrial, and consumer electronics. The diode is housed in a P600 axial leaded package for through-hole mounting, with an operating temperature range of -55°C to 175°C.
