The Littelfuse 5KP14A is a 5kW unidirectional transient voltage suppression (TVS) diode designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient events. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 14V and a maximum clamping voltage of 23.2V at the 10/1000μs test waveform.
This device offers a peak pulse power dissipation of 5000W and a peak pulse current capability of 219.8A under the same waveform. It has a fast response time of less than 1.0ps from 0V to breakdown voltage minimum. The 5KP14A is housed in a P600 axial leaded package and is designed for through-hole mounting with axial termination style.
