The 5KP13A is a 5kW unidirectional TVS diode from the Littelfuse 5KP series, designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient events. It features a glass passivated chip junction in a P600 axial through-hole package.
Key electrical specifications include a reverse standoff voltage of 13V, a typical breakdown voltage of 14.4V, and a maximum clamping voltage of 21.5V at a peak pulse current of 237.2A (10/1000µs waveform).
