The TE Connectivity 5646489-1 is a 110-position, 2mm centerline hard metric backplane receptacle designed for mezzanine architectures. It features a 5-row by 22-column configuration with all positions loaded. The connector uses press-fit termination for reliable solderless board attachment and offers a right-angle PCB mount orientation.
This Z-PACK 2mm HM receptacle supports data rates up to 1 Gb/s with a standard crosstalk version and a maximum contact current rating of 1.5 A. Contacts are made of phosphor bronze with a performance-based mating area plating and tin-plated termination areas. The housing is gray polyester-glass filled with a UL 94V-0 flammability rating.
The connector is shielded and includes a multi-purpose center mating alignment for secure engagement. It is packaged in tubes of 10 units. Compliant with RoHS, REACH, EU ELV, and China RoHS requirements.
