The Mill-Max 540-44-032-17-400000 is a 32-position surface mount PLCC socket designed for reliable interconnection of PLCC packaged ICs. It features a 0.050" (1.27mm) pitch and a compact closed frame design.
Key specifications include a current rating of 1A, insulation resistance of 5,000 MΩ min, and dielectric withstanding voltage of 600 VRMS. The socket operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C and offers a mechanical durability of 50 cycles minimum.
The contacts are made of copper alloy with a 150 µ" tin plating, and the housing is constructed from polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) for high temperature resistance. The socket is packaged in tubes with 26 pieces per tube and is RoHS3, REACH unaffected, and MSL 1 compliant.
