The Rosenberger 53S205-306N5 is an N Type right angle plug designed for 50 Ohm coaxial cable systems. It supports a frequency range from DC to 11 GHz, making it suitable for a wide variety of RF applications. The connector features a threaded coupling for secure mating and is terminated via solder for the center contact and crimp for the shield.
Electrical performance includes a return loss of at least 35 dB from DC to 2 GHz, 23 dB from 2 to 4 GHz, and 20 dB from 4 to 8 GHz. Insertion loss is a maximum of 0.05 dB from DC to 8 GHz. The connector can handle up to 1000 W at 1 GHz and 700 W at 2 GHz (at 20°C, sea level, VSWR 1.0). Working voltage is 500 V rms.
Mechanically, the connector is built with a brass center contact (gold plated) and a brass outer body with flash white bronze over silver plating. It is designed for use with RG-58C and RG-141 cables. The connector is rated for a minimum of 500 mating cycles and operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +155°C.
