The 5228 from Keystone Electronics is a dual battery contact spring designed for molded cases with self-contained battery compartments. It accommodates 2 cells with a cylindrical contact (dual) function. The contact spring (coil) style provides reliable low contact resistance.
Termination is via solder tab for wire lead or PC mounting. The plate is made of 0.020" (0.51 mm) steel with nickel plate, and the spring is spring steel with nickel plate. The mounting type is custom, suitable for integration into custom battery compartments.
