The Schurter 5220.0443.3 is a compact power entry module combining an IEC 320-C14 appliance inlet, an EMI/RFI line filter, and a 2-pole fuseholder in a single panel-mount package. Rated for 4 A at 250 VAC, it is designed for use in commercial and medical equipment requiring electromagnetic interference suppression.
Electrical specifications include leakage current of less than 0.5 mA in standard mode and less than 5 µA in medical mode, dielectric strength of >1.7 kVDC between line and neutral and >2.7 kVDC between line/neutral and ground, and an operating temperature range of -25°C to 85°C. The module is protection class I and has a minimum MTBF of 2,300,000 hours.
Mechanically, it mounts via snap-in to a panel cutout of 29.0 mm x 32.0 mm with a panel thickness of 0.79 mm to 3.0 mm. Terminations are quick connect 0.250" (6.3 mm) tabs. The front side is IP40 rated, and the thermoplastic housing is UL94 V-0 flame rated. The 2-pole fuseholder accepts 5 x 20 mm fuses (fuses not included).
This module is suitable for medical equipment per IEC/UL 60601-1 (1 MOOP, 1 MOPP) and has approvals from cULus and ENEC. It is RoHS3 compliant, REACH unaffected, and MSL 1.
