The Edac 516-090-000-402 is a rack and panel connector housing from the 516 series, designed for use with non-gendered contacts. It accommodates 90 contacts arranged in 13 rows with a contact spacing of 3.81mm (0.150") and row spacing of 3.30mm (0.130") or 3.81mm (0.150"). The housing is constructed from gray polycarbonate and includes jackscrew sockets and mating guides for secure mating.
Electrically, the housing supports a current rating of 8.5A per contact, with a maximum contact resistance of 10 milliohms. The dielectric withstanding voltage is 2000V AC rms at sea level, and insulation resistance is a minimum of 5000 megohms. The operating temperature range is -40°C to +105°C.
This housing is intended for use with Edac 516 series contacts, which are gold-plated over nickel for reliable performance. The connector is RoHS compliant and UL certified.
