This Pomona Electronics 5144-48-2 is a 48-inch test lead designed for probing Surface Mount Device (SMD) contacts. The microtip features a flexible stainless steel needle tip to prevent damage to SMD leads and is curved for accessing hard-to-reach areas.
The test lead is constructed with a 20 AWG tinned copper wire insulated with PVC. The stacking banana plug is made of brass with nickel plating and polypropylene insulation, allowing for multi-stacking connections. The probe body and chuck nut are made of nylon.
This test lead is rated for a maximum operating voltage of 1200Vrms in controlled environments. For CE compliance, it is not intended for hand-held use above 33Vrms/70Vdc. The current rating is 5 Amps, and the maximum operating temperature is +55°C.
Available in red, this model is part of a set that includes both red and black leads. Replaceable tips are available for various applications.
