The Vishay Dale 50WQ04FNTR is a surface-mount Schottky rectifier designed for low forward voltage drop and compact board footprint. It delivers a maximum average forward current of 5.5A with a reverse voltage rating of 40V. The forward voltage is typically 510mV at 5A and 25°C, decreasing to 440mV at 125°C, which improves efficiency in high-temperature operation.
The device features a guard ring for enhanced ruggedness and long-term reliability, and supports high-frequency operation. It comes in the industry-standard D-PAK (TO-252AA) package, making it suitable for automated surface-mount assembly. Typical applications include disk drives, switching power supplies, converters, free-wheeling diodes, battery charging circuits, and reverse battery protection.
5.5 A at 50% duty cycle, rectangular waveform, TC=135°C.
40 V (VRRM).
Typically 510 mV at 5A and 25°C, dropping to 440 mV at 125°C.
Surface-mount D-PAK (TO-252AA), also described as TO-252-3, DPak (2 Leads + Tab), SC-63.
-40°C to 150°C (junction temperature).
