The Molex 5051107091 is a 70-position FFC/FPC connector from the 505110 series, designed with a 0.5mm pitch and right angle surface mount orientation. This connector features a flip lock actuator for secure cable retention and zero insertion force (ZIF) for easy cable insertion. It accommodates FFC/FPC cables with a thickness of 0.30mm, supporting tabbed and tapered cable end types. The connector includes solder retention tabs for reliable board attachment.
Electrically, the connector is rated for 50V maximum voltage and 0.5A maximum current per contact. Contact resistance is 40 milliohms maximum, insulation resistance is 50 megohms minimum, and dielectric withstanding voltage is 125V AC (rms). Mechanically, it offers a minimum durability of 25 cycles and operates over a temperature range of -40°C to 105°C.
The housing is made of glass-filled liquid crystal polymer (LCP), and the actuator is glass-filled polyamide (nylon). Contacts are phosphor bronze with gold plating in the contact area and solder tail area, with nickel underplating. The connector is RoHS3 compliant and halogen-free (low halogen).
