The Molex 5051100692 is a 6-position FFC/FPC connector featuring a 0.5mm pitch and right angle surface mount orientation. It accepts tabbed or tapered FFC/FPC cables with a thickness of 0.30mm and uses a bottom contact design. The connector includes a flip lock/backlock actuator for secure cable retention and solder retention features for reliable board attachment.
The housing is made of glass-filled liquid crystal polymer (LCP) with a UL94 V-0 flammability rating, and the actuator is glass-filled polyamide (PA) nylon. Contacts are phosphor bronze with gold finish, rated for 50V. The operating temperature range is -40°C to 105°C. This connector supports zero insertion force (ZIF) operation, reducing wear on the cable and connector during mating cycles.
