The FLIR Lepton 500-0763-01 is a compact LWIR camera module designed for easy integration into consumer electronics and mobile devices. It operates within a nominal response wavelength band of 8 to 14 microns, capturing infrared radiation to produce a uniform thermal image with radiometry for temperature measurements.

This module features an 80x60 active pixel array and offers a thermal sensitivity of less than 50 mK. It includes integrated digital thermal image processing functions such as automatic compensation, noise filters, and non-uniformity correction. The module supports an export-compliant frame rate of less than 9 Hz and utilizes an SPI video interface for data output, along with a two-wire I2C serial control interface.

Designed for ease of use, the Lepton 500-0763-01 uses standard cell-phone-compatible power supplies, requiring 2.8V for the sensor and 1.2V for the digital core. It achieves a fast time to image in under 1.2 seconds and boasts low operating power, nominally 160 mW, with a low power mode of 5 mW. The module is RoHS compliant and features a 32-pin socket interface for connection.
