The TE Connectivity 5-5530843-4 is a dual female edgeboard connector designed for reliable card edge connections. It accommodates PCBs with a thickness range of 0.054" to 0.070" (1.37mm to 1.78mm) and offers 40 positions arranged on a standard 0.100" (2.54mm) pitch in a dual readout configuration. The connector uses through-hole mounting with solder termination for secure attachment to the motherboard.
Contacts are made from phosphor bronze with a 30µin (0.76µm) gold plating, ensuring excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance. The operating temperature range spans -55°C to 85°C, suitable for a wide range of environments. The black insulator is rated for wave soldering up to 265°C.
This part is EU RoHS compliant (Directive 2011/65/EU including Delegated Directive 2015/863/EU) and does not contain REACH SVHC as of the January 2023 ECHA candidate list. It is not halogen-free, containing bromine or chlorine above 900 ppm.
