The TE Connectivity 5-1437720-6 is a machined socket contact from the Triad 01 Crimp series. Designed for signal applications, it terminates discrete wire via crimp connection. The contact is made of brass with a gold (AuCoNiP) finish and features Tribor plating in the mating area. The contact is rated for a maximum current of 3 A and accommodates 20 AWG (0.5 mm²) wire.
This contact does not include retention within a housing, making it suitable for applications where the housing provides retention or where the contact is used in a connector system designed for separate retention features. The packaging method is package, with 500 contacts per package.
