The 5.0SMLJ60A-TP is a unidirectional Zener TVS diode designed for general-purpose transient voltage suppression. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 60V, a minimum breakdown voltage of 66.7V, and a maximum clamping voltage of 96.8V at 51.7A peak pulse current (10/1000µs waveform). With a peak pulse power rating of 5000W (5kW), this device provides robust protection against voltage transients.
This TVS diode is housed in a surface-mount DO-214AB (SMC) package and supports an operating temperature range of -55°C to 175°C. It is supplied in tape and reel packaging suitable for automated assembly. The part is RoHS3 compliant and has an MSL of 1 (unlimited).
Designed for general-purpose circuit protection, the 5.0SMLJ60A-TP is suitable for use in power supplies, industrial equipment, and communication systems where protection against high-energy transients is required.
