The Littelfuse 5.0SMDJ22A is a surface mount TVS diode designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient events. It delivers 5000W peak pulse power dissipation (10/1000µs waveform) and features a reverse standoff voltage of 22V, maximum clamping voltage of 35.5V, and peak pulse current rating of 141A.
This device provides IEC 61000-4-2 ESD protection up to 30kV air and contact, with a fast response time of less than 1.0ps. It is unidirectional with a single channel and is suitable for telecom, computer, industrial, and consumer applications.
Packaged in a DO-214AB (SMC) surface mount package, the 5.0SMDJ22A operates over a junction temperature range of -65°C to 150°C and offers a typical thermal resistance of 15°C/W junction-to-lead and 75°C/W junction-to-ambient. It is RoHS compliant, halogen free, and Pb-free (E3 terminal finish).
The reverse standoff voltage is 22V.
The maximum clamping voltage is 35.5V.
