The 5.0SMDJ15A is a unidirectional TVS diode from Littelfuse's 5.0SMDJ series. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 15V and a clamping voltage of 24.4V at 205A peak pulse current (10/1000μs waveform). With a peak pulse power rating of 5000W, it is designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient events. The device offers fast response time of less than 1.0ps and meets IEC 61000-4-2 ESD protection up to 30kV air and contact. It is housed in a surface mount DO-214AB (SMC) package with operating temperature range of -65°C to 150°C. Typical applications include telecom, computer, industrial, and consumer electronics.
