The KEMET 46KI21005001K is a metallized polypropylene film capacitor from the R46 series, designed for X2 class EMI suppression across-the-line applications. It offers a capacitance of 0.01 µF (10000 pF) with ±10% tolerance and a rated voltage of 275 VAC at 50/60 Hz.
This capacitor is constructed with self-healing metallized polypropylene film encapsulated in a self-extinguishing resin box meeting UL 94 V–0. It operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +110°C and is RoHS compliant with lead-free terminations.
Packaged in a radial through-hole configuration with 15 mm lead spacing, the component measures 18.00 mm x 5.00 mm x 11.10 mm. It is intended for worldwide use in electromagnetic interference (EMI) suppression circuits where capacitor failure does not result in electric shock, in accordance with IEC 60384-14 Class X2.
