The Schurter 4435.033 is a thermal circuit breaker designed for overcurrent protection in a variety of applications. It is rated for 4A continuous current and can operate on AC voltages up to 240 VAC (IEC) or 277 VAC (UL/CSA) and DC voltages up to 60 VDC. The front face offers IP40 protection against solid objects, making it suitable for panel-mounted installations.
The breaker provides a dielectric strength of >2.5 kV at 50 Hz and >4 kV impulse, ensuring robust insulation. It has a mechanical and electrical lifetime of 50,000 switching cycles under rated conditions, and can operate in ambient temperatures from -30°C to 60°C. Storage temperature range is -40°C to 60°C.
The component is vibration resistant according to IEC 60068-2-6, withstanding ±0.75 mm displacement at 10-60 Hz. It is designed for use in industrial control panels, power supplies, and HVAC equipment where reliable overcurrent protection is required.
