The Schurter 4435.0085 is a thermal-magnetic circuit breaker designed for overcurrent protection in a wide range of applications. It is rated for 6A continuous current and supports AC voltages up to 240VAC (IEC) or 277VAC (UL/CSA) and DC voltages up to 32VDC. The breaker uses a thermal tripping mechanism and offers a rated current range of 0.05 to 20A AC.
This device provides robust electrical isolation with a dielectric strength greater than 2.5kV at 50Hz and greater than 4kV impulse withstand. It has an insulation resistance exceeding 100MΩ at 500VDC. The conditional short circuit capacity is 2kA at 240VAC per IEC 60934. The breaker is designed for a long mechanical and electrical life of 50,000 switching cycles under rated conditions.
The 4435.0085 is housed in a panel mount package and features a rotary knob actuator. It has an IP40 degree of protection on the front side per IEC 60529. The operating temperature range is -30°C to 60°C, and it can be stored between -40°C and 60°C. It is resistant to vibration per IEC 60068-2-6 and shock per IEC 60068-2-27.
The rated current is 6A.
It is rated for 240VAC (IEC), 277VAC (UL/CSA), and 32VDC.
The allowable operating temperature range is -30°C to 60°C.
It uses a rotary knob actuator.
The mechanical lifetime is 50,000 switching cycles.
The front side has IP40 protection per IEC 60529.
