The Schurter 4435.0073 is a thermal circuit breaker designed for overcurrent protection. It is rated for 20A AC current with a voltage rating of 240VAC per IEC and 277VAC per UL/CSA, as well as 32VDC. The breaker has a tripping type of thermal and offers a short circuit capacity of 2kA at 240VAC. It features a rotary knob actuation and provides IP40 degree of protection on the front side according to IEC 60529. The dielectric strength is greater than 2.5kV at 50Hz and greater than 4kV impulse. Insulation resistance is greater than 100MΩ at 500VDC. Mechanical lifetime is 50,000 switching cycles, and electrical lifetime is also 50,000 cycles for both AC and DC under specified conditions. The operating temperature range is -30°C to 60°C, storage from -40°C to 60°C. It withstands vibration and shock according to IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 respectively. Weight is 45g.
Suitable for use in industrial control panels, power supplies, and equipment requiring reliable overcurrent protection. The thermal tripping mechanism ensures consistent performance under overload conditions.
It supports 240VAC (IEC), 277VAC (UL/CSA), and 32VDC.
The rated current is 20A for AC and DC.
