The TE Connectivity 42698-2 is a non-insulated flag-style quick disconnect terminal designed for 16-20 AWG wire. It features a 0.187" (4.75mm) tab width and 0.020" (0.51mm) tab thickness, making it suitable for standard quick-connect applications. The terminal is made of brass with a tin contact finish, providing good conductivity and corrosion resistance.
The flag (90° angled) design allows for right-angle mounting in free-hanging, in-line applications, which is useful in tight spaces where a straight terminal would not fit. Termination is via crimp, ensuring a secure mechanical and electrical connection. This terminal is RoHS3 compliant and has an MSL of 1 (unlimited).
