The tesa® 4244 is a specialized fineline tape engineered for precision masking in design painting. Its flexible soft PVC backing and natural rubber adhesive ensure a very sharp paint edge, making it ideal for applications on both painted and unpainted plastic parts, as well as for multi-color painting tasks.

This tape exhibits excellent conformability to multi-dimensional surfaces, preventing edge lifting and ensuring clean removal without leaving any residues. It is also designed to withstand high temperatures without shrinking and conforms to dimensional changes during oven-drying processes. The tape has a total thickness of 110 µm and a temperature resistance of up to 140 °C.

Key technical properties include a tensile strength of 27 N/cm and very good hand tearability. The tesa® 4244 is suitable for die-cutting, offering versatility in application. It is an excellent choice for masking and design applications requiring fine line precision.
