The Edac 423-035-521-102 is a 35 position card edge connector from the 423 series. It features 0.200" (5.08 mm) contact spacing and 0.300" (7.62 mm) row spacing in a staggered grid arrangement. The connector uses Edacon hermaphroditic contact mating design with copper alloy contacts plated with gold over nickel over the entire contact surface.
Electrical specifications include a current rating of 10 amps, contact resistance of 10 milliohms maximum, dielectric withstanding voltage of 2000 V AC rms at sea level, and insulation resistance of 5000 megohms minimum. The operating temperature range is -65°C to +125°C.
The insulator is made of diallyl phthalate with UL 94V-0 flammability rating. The connector is designed for mounting into 0.062" (1.57 mm) or 0.093" (2.36 mm) nominal thickness PC boards by soldering and/or staking of PC tails. The tail size is .044 x .025 (1.12 x 0.64) with a tail length of 0.153" (3.89 mm). Mounting is via 0.128" diameter mounting holes and guide pins as per MIL-C-21097.
