The JST 40FLZ-RSM1-R-TB is a 40-position FFC/FPC connector from the FLZ series, featuring a 0.5mm pitch and a surface mount right angle mounting style. It utilizes a zero insertion force (ZIF) mechanism with a slide lock for secure cable retention. The connector is rated for 0.5A AC/DC current and 50V AC/DC voltage, with an operating temperature range of -25°C to +85°C. Contact resistance is 40mΩ maximum initial and 60mΩ maximum after environmental testing. Insulation resistance is 800MΩ minimum, and withstanding voltage is 200V AC/minute. The housing and actuator are made of heat-resistant polyamide (PA46/Nylon 4/6) with UL94 V-0 flammability rating. The contacts are phosphor bronze with tin-lead plating. This connector is designed for automatic mounting and is packaged in embossed tape. It accepts FFC/FPC cables with a thickness of 0.30mm.
