The Heyco 4012 is a snap-in liquid tight bushing designed for cable and wire management. It is made from EPDM rubber, offering ozone and weather resistance for outdoor and indoor applications. The bushing accommodates cable diameters from 0.750 to 1.100 inches (19.05-27.94 mm) and fits panel thicknesses from 0.040 to 0.160 inches (1.02-4.06 mm).
It requires a circular panel cutout of 1.594 inches (40.50 mm) diameter. The head diameter is 1.91 inches (48.5 mm) with a head length of 1.18 inches (30.0 mm) and head thickness of 0.32 inches (8.1 mm). The operating temperature range is -40°F to 200°F (-40°C to 93°C).
The bushing provides a liquid tight seal up to IP67 protection level and offers light strain relief to the cable. It can also be used as a liquid tight plug. Installation is simple: snap the bushing into the panel hole, cut the cable end at a 45° angle, pierce the thin membrane, insert the cable, and pull back to form a seal.
