The Simplex 4005 series fire alarm control panels provide flexible initiating circuit monitoring and extensive programmable control capabilities. Designed for areas requiring eight to thirty-six IDC zones, these panels feature an 80-character alphanumeric LCD for circuit-specific custom labels. Standard features include eight Initiating Device Circuits (IDCs) in Style B (Class B) and four Notification Appliance Circuits (NACs) in Style Y (Class B). The panel is equipped with a 4-amp power supply and battery charger, and utilizes a power-limited design with pluggable terminal blocks.

Software features include menu-driven programming, on-site programmable custom labels, four operator access levels, and historical event logs. The system supports Simplex WALKTEST™ performance testing and selectable active status reminders. Optional expansion modules allow for increased IDC and NAC capacity, as well as remote station/city connection and internal DACT. The 4005 series is suitable for a wide variety of mid-size facilities in fields such as Educational, Health Care, Business, Storage, Hospitality, Residential, and General Assembly.
