The 3M 3564-1001 is a 50-position D Ribbon wiremount plug from the 3000 Series, designed for reliable IDC termination to 26-28 AWG solid or stranded wire and 0.050 inch round, flat, or jacketed cable. It features a free hanging (in-line) mounting style with a bail lock for secure mating.
Electrical specifications include a current rating of 1 A, insulation resistance greater than 1 × 10⁹ Ω at 500 VDC, and a withstanding voltage of 1000 Vrms at sea level. The operating temperature range is -55°C to +105°C.
Mechanically, the connector uses a glass filled polyester (PBT) insulator with UL 94V-0 flammability rating. Contacts are copper alloy with 100 μinch nickel underplating and 30 μinch gold wiping area. The stainless steel strain relief accommodates 26 and 28 AWG wire.
