The Keystone Electronics 3557-2 is a blade-type fuse block designed for standard ATC, ATO, and Miniature (Low Profile) blade fuses. It is rated for 30 A at 500 V AC (UL) and features a single circuit with vertical orientation. The block uses through-hole mounting with PC pin termination for secure PCB attachment.
The insulator is made of nylon with a UL 94V-0 flammability rating, ensuring reliable performance in demanding environments. The contacts are brass with a tin-nickel plating, providing good conductivity and corrosion resistance. The operating temperature range is -50°C to +145°C.
Design features include a fuse retention system that holds the fuse securely even after multiple insertions, and a design that prevents solder wicking during wave soldering. The block withstands shock and vibration, making it suitable for automotive, industrial, and other high-reliability applications. Compatible fuse series include ATC, ATO, and Miniature (Low Profile) (ATT).
