The Pomona Electronics 3542-2 is a red panel mount tip jack designed for accepting standard 0.080 inch diameter pin tip plugs. It features a female gender with mating end insulation and a threaded and turret termination style for secure panel mounting. The contact is made of gold plated brass, ensuring reliable electrical performance and corrosion resistance. The insulation is molded polycarbonate, providing durability and electrical isolation.
Rated for 5 amps continuous current and a maximum operating voltage of 1500 Vrms in hands-free controlled voltage environments, this tip jack is suitable for test and measurement applications. For CE compliance, it is not intended for hand-held use above 33 Vrms or 70 Vdc. The operating temperature range extends up to 115°C.
