The contact is made from phosphor bronze with a pre-tin (tin) plating on the mating area, 0.2 µm thick. It mates with a 0.5 mm square post and is rated for 2 A maximum current and 50 VAC operating voltage. Insulation resistance is 500 MΩ, and the operating temperature range is -30 to 105 °C.

 

This contact is non-sealable and intended for signal circuit applications. It is terminated by crimping and mounts in a cable mount (free-hanging) configuration. The part is supplied in strip packaging with 15,000 pieces per strip.
